Psychotron
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Psychotron?

A psychotronic broadcasting station: software that holds a magical operation in continuous transmission. You give it a witness (a photograph and a name), a radionic rate, a seal, written and spoken commands, colours, and a frequency, and it broadcasts them, timed by the planetary hours, for the length of the working.

Does it work?

Psychotron is a ritual tool. It holds your witness, rate, seal, and words in transmission, in the right hours, for as long as you run it; what answers is a matter of the work, the operator, and the powers called. We don't promise results, and nobody honest in this field does. What we can promise is that the station does exactly what it says, every hour you leave it running.

What do I need?

A desktop or laptop computer with a current browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox). The station runs in the browser and keeps working offline once loaded. Leave it running and it keeps the screen awake while it transmits. Phones aren't supported yet.

Where are my photographs and workings kept?

On your computer, in your browser's own storage. Nothing you load into the station is uploaded anywhere: not the witness photographs, the recordings, the operations, or the record. Use SETTINGS → EXPORT EVERYTHING to keep a backup file.

Can I work on another person?

Yes. The station was built for work at a distance, with the other person's photograph as the witness, and many of the grimoire operations are aimed at another person. The baneful works (crossing, binding an enemy, separation) are kept to one grimoire of their own, Sword & Sickle. Keep your workings to yourself; broom-closet mode is there for shared homes.

What is the R.I.N.?

The radionic index number: the rate, in radionic terms, at which a particular person's subtle body can be reached. The station seeks it with three dials you stop by feel, or derives it from name and birth date. Once you have a person's number, keep it.

What are elections?

In astrological magic, an election is a chosen moment to begin a working. The station uses the planetary days and hours and the phase of the Moon: Venus work begins on a Friday in an hour of Venus with the Moon waxing, and so on. Our free planetary hours tool shows them for anywhere.

Can I use my own seals and sigils?

Yes. Load any image as a symbol, or trace a name or statement of intent on one of Agrippa's planetary squares with the sigil maker.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once and keep what you bought, with free updates within version 1.

Who can use it?

Adults only: you must be 18 or over to use the station or buy from us.
